About

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. After completing my BA, I spent a few years working as an employment counsellor. This experience really allowed me a unique opportunity to work on the front lines of helping people both create the change they desire and manage change that was thrust upon them. I then moved to Calgary and completed my Master of Arts degree (also in Psychology) here at City University. I am a Registered Psychologist and member of the Psychology Association of Alberta.

I take a whole person approach to the work I do. As such, I have been drawn to a variety of different types of training and specialization including Attachment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy, Integrated Body Psychotherapy (IBP), Natural Processing (NP) and Narrative Therapy. Short descriptions of these and other forms of therapy I am trained in can be found on the Services page. If you have any questions about what approach might be right for you, please feel free to visit the contact page to send me a quick email so we can set up a mutually convenient time to have a short conversation by phone.
